LATEX

Latex is 100% natural material - rubber which is extracted from Helvetica Brasilius tree juice. In the production process, pigments are added to create different colors of latex. There is no fabric lining for latex and therefore the material is glued Instead of being sewn. The tiny holes that the sewing needle creates can cause tearing of latex. For the manufacture of clothing used sheet latex, which comes in large rolls and has a width of the order of one meter.

How to make your latex clothes shiny?

When you buy your first latex product, its look can disappoint you, as originally it does not shine at all and looks like ordinary rubber. To give shine there are many polishes created specifically for latex clothing, also suitable pure silicone lubricant. Apply a small amount of polish or silicone to the product and rub it with your hands. You can use a soft cloth that does not leave a nap. Before applying clothes should be washed from talcum powder and dried.

How to wear and care for latex clothing:

Many people like the feeling and appearance of latex clothing, with proper care, your latex clothing will bring pleasure and perfect look for many years. The following items may damage, stain, and prematurely wear out latex clothing; avoid contact with your items:

  • Sunlight: avoid long influence.
  • Moisture: avoid very long exposure.
  • Oils and greases: beware of oil-based body products, cosmetics, etc.
  • Solvents: including nail polish remover.
  • Copper and alloys: even small traces can stain bright latex, beware of jewelry and coins.
  • High temperature: excessive temperature will damage the latex coating. Be careful with open fire, cigarettes, etc.
  • Be very careful with sharp objects, jewelry and even nails, as latex is easy to scratch or tear.
  • Avoid contact with chlorine or bleach, any such contact will weaken the strength of the material. This includes a pool with chlorinated water or a jacuzzi.

Cleaning:

  • Never wash in a washing machine, do not dry in the dryer and do not iron latex!
  • If possible, gently wash latex clothing by hand only in clean, warm water. Lightly massage the surface of the latex with your fingertips to remove traces of dirt. Make sure you wash inside and out and rinse in clean water. Use special latex products.
  • Shake off excess water and hang in the shade on a wooden or plastic hanger (some metals can damage latex), after drying, turn inside out to make sure that both sides are dry.
  • Persistent marks can be removed with a small amount of mild soap, but be careful to avoid any products containing oils and fragrances. Always rinse several times in clean water.
  • Some colors or clear latex may become cloudy when washed or dried with residual water; this will disappear once the latex is completely dry and evaporates any moisture.

VINYL

Vinyl is a unique material, made by applying a polymer coating on a textile base. The composition of vinyl is a mix of rubber, resin, glue, paint and plastic. But at the same time it is safe for humans - it does not emit toxins, is not capable of inflammation and does not cause allergies. The advantages can be safely attributed to unsurpassed elasticity, strength, smoothness and gloss.

The main characteristics of vinyl:

  • Elasticity (has a stretching percentage up to 200%).
  • Chemical resistance.
  • Durability.
  • Easy to care for.
  • Does not fade in the sun.
  • Strength.

Features of care:

Wash vinyl clothes only by hand. No special tools are required for putting it on, nor does it need to be polished - vinyl shines by itself.

SPANDEX

Spandex is a versatile stretch fabric made from highly elastic rubber-like fibers. The original purpose of spandex was planned as an analogue of rubber, a synthetic substitute for rubber. As a result, we received a fabric with high strength and the ability to quickly return to its original state after deformation.

The main characteristics of spandex:

  • Elasticity (stretching 500-700%).
  • Low weight.
  • Chemical resistance.
  • Color fastness.
  • The material does not crumple.
  • Easy to care for.
  • strength.

This material is unpretentious in the care, but there are a number of nuances:

  • Do not use chlorine-based bleach.
  • Only hand wash up to 40ºС is recommended, otherwise spandex will shrink.
  • Drying over an open source of fire or heating elements is extremely dangerous, the fabric can melt.
  • With prolonged exposure to sunlight, spandex burns out.
