Online store terms

By using this website, you confirm that you are at least the age of majority in your country, state or province of residence, or that you have the legal authority to use this website and place orders.

Products and product information

Bright & Shiny sells specialist latex, spandex and intimate garments, including made-to-order, made-to-measure, customised and limited-availability products.

We make reasonable efforts to display product descriptions, colours, photos, materials, options and prices accurately. However, colours may appear differently depending on screen settings, lighting, photography and device calibration.

Product descriptions, prices, availability, production times and shipping options may be changed at any time without notice. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time.

Custom-made and made-to-order products

Most of our products are made to order according to the customer’s selected size, colour, material, thickness, design options, measurements or other custom details.

The customer is responsible for checking all selected options, measurements, sizes, colours, quantities and shipping details before placing an order.

For made-to-measure and custom-made products, the final fit depends on the accuracy of the measurements and information provided by the customer. If the customer provides incorrect or incomplete measurements, selects the wrong size or chooses the wrong options, this is not considered a manufacturing defect.

Orders and acceptance

After you place an order, you may receive an order confirmation email. This confirms that we have received your order, but it does not guarantee acceptance of the order in all circumstances.

We reserve the right to refuse, limit or cancel any order where necessary, including but not limited to cases of suspected fraud, incorrect pricing, unavailable materials, technical errors, incomplete information, delivery restrictions, legal restrictions or abusive behaviour.

If we cancel an order after payment has been made, we will issue a refund for the cancelled part of the order unless otherwise permitted by law.

Order changes and cancellations

Because most of our products are made to order, order changes and cancellations are not guaranteed.

If you need to change or cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible at office@brightandshinystore.com. We may accept changes or cancellation only if production, preparation, material cutting or packing has not yet started.

Once production, preparation, material cutting or packing has started, the order cannot usually be changed or cancelled.

Prices and payment

All prices are shown on the website in the available checkout currency. Prices may be changed at any time without notice.

Payment must be completed through the payment methods available at checkout. Orders are not processed until payment has been successfully received or authorised.

The customer is responsible for any bank fees, currency conversion charges, customs duties, import VAT, taxes, brokerage fees or similar charges that may apply in the destination country.

Shipping and delivery

Shipping terms, delivery estimates, customs information and import charges are described in our Shipping Policy. By placing an order, you agree to the Shipping Policy.

Delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays caused by postal services, courier services, customs, incorrect addresses, failed delivery attempts, unpaid import charges, holidays, strikes, war, weather, force majeure or other events outside our control.

Returns and refunds

Returns, refunds, defects, incorrect products, custom-made exclusions, hygiene-sensitive items and withdrawal requests are governed by our Return and Refund Policy.

By placing an order, you confirm that you understand that many Bright & Shiny products are custom-made, made to order, made to measure or hygiene-sensitive, and may be excluded from the standard right of withdrawal except where required by law for defective, damaged, incorrect or non-conforming goods.

Care and use of products

The customer is responsible for using, dressing, cleaning, storing and caring for products correctly. Latex and delicate garments can be damaged by sharp nails, jewellery, excessive force, oils, silicone products, unsuitable dressing aids, shiners, heat, sunlight or incorrect storage.

We are not responsible for damage caused by improper use, incorrect dressing, incorrect care, accidents, misuse, unauthorised alterations or failure to follow product care instructions.

Intellectual property

All content on this website, including text, images, product photos, designs, graphics, logos, layout and other materials, is owned by or licensed to Bright & Shiny and is protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, publish, sell or exploit any part of the website, product images or content without our prior written permission.

If you send us photos, reviews, comments, feedback or other content, you confirm that you have the right to share this content with us.
